WHITINGHAM, Vermont - Husson senior forward Stephen Berenyi has been named the North Atlantic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
Berenyi helped lead the Eagles to a 2-0 record this past week. The Levant, Maine, product tallied two goals in a 3-2 non-conference win over Maine Maritime. The forward netted a goal in the 33rd minute to tie the game at one-all and then found the back of the net less than two minutes later to put the Eagles up by one. Earlier in the week, Berenyi assisted on a goal in Husson's 3-1 win over Southern Maine.
