Toussaint selected as CCC Rookie of the Week

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- University of New England men's cross country runner Matthew Toussaint has been named as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week for the period ending September 27.

It is the second such honor in as many races for the first-year runner.

Toussaint finished the 8K course at the Pop Crowell Invitational with a time of 27:23, good for 8th place individually in the field of 104. He was the third UNE runner to cross the line as the Nor'easters claimed a share of the team title out of 11 teams.
