WHITINGHAM, Vermont - Husson senior midfielder Britt Mellor has been named the North Atlantic Conference Field Hockey Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
Mellor tallied five points on the week as Husson earned a 7-2 win over Colby-Sawyer (N.H.). The Belfast, Maine, product scored two goals and tallied one assist to start the Eagles at 1-0 in conference action.
Mellor has a team-leading three goals and one assist this year.
