With four of the top five runners, Colby College edged Bowdoin for the team crown with 24 points – 13 ahead of the host-Polar Bears. Bowdoin's Bridger Tomlin toured the 8K course in 26:02 to claim top individual honors while Colby's Benard Kibet was the runner-up with a 26:19 effort.
FOR THE MONKS:
- Senior Taidghe Hagan (Reading, Mass.) posted a 29:10 effort, good for 56th overall
- First-year Andrew Force (Lancaster, N.H.) raced to a 70th-place finish (30:18)
- Junior Nick Shuckrow (Winslow, Maine) placed 98th (31:40)
- Freshman Avery Liotta-Henderson was 114th overall with a 33:27 time
Saint Joseph's is off until Saturday, October 10th when the team hosts the Runnin' Monks Invitational.
