Terriers Place 9th at Bowdoin Invitational

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Thomas College women's cross country team placed 9th overall at the Bowdoin College Cross Country Invitational on Saturday morning. Junior Crystal Peatfield was the top performer for the Terriers, placing 49th overall with a 26:41 time.

Amanda Cotter followed in pursuit of Peatfield for a 62nd place run (27:20), and Marissa Gammon finished 95th with a 31:54. Evelyn Swan ran to a 100th place finish (33:34), Alyssa Maggi 101st (33:42), Margaux Lorin 107th (36:45), and Krysten Quinn 109th (37:14) rounded out the top seven for the Terriers.

Bowdoin College swept the top four spots of the event, earning them first place honors for the host team.  Sarah Kelley was the overall winner for the Polar Bears with a time of 23:14.

The Terriers will compete in the St. Joseph's College Invitational on Saturday, October 10 at 11:00 am.
