Thomas tabbed as ECAC Runner of the Week

DANBURY, Connecticut -- University of New England women's cross country runner Tiana Thomas has been named as the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Runner of the Week for the period ending September 27.

It is the second time receiving the honor for Thomas, both following her selection as Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Runner of the Week.

The junior clocked a 5K time of 18:28 at the Pop Crowell Invitational to take the 1st-place spot in the 129-runner field by 31 seconds over teammate Emma Robidoux. The Nor'easters continued to dominate, as a squad, tallying their third victory in as many races of 2015 with a score of 18.
