GOLF: Kalthoff Tied for Fifth After Day One of Husson Invitational

BANGOR, Maine – Keenan Kalthoff (Fallbrook, Calif.) led Maine Maritime Academy, during day one of the Husson Invitational at the Bangor Municipal Golf Course.

Kalthoff finished the day with a 73 stroke on the par 69 course. Husson's Greg Martin led all golfers after the first 18 holes with a 67 overall. Saint Joseph's College of Maine leads with a 299 after the first day.

Joseph Moir (Bangor, Maine) is tied for 23rd overall with a 79 shot, followed closely by Chase Whittemore (Skowhegan, Maine) who ranks 26th with a 81, and Kevin Pepin (Candia, N.H.) and Erich Klopfer (Palm Harbor, Fla.) who are in a four-way tie for 30th with 82's.

Day two of the Husson Invitational kicks off today at 9:00 a.m.
