Colby moved to 2-3-1 overall and 1-2-1 in the league, while Trinity stands at 2-3-2 overall and 0-3-1 in conference play.
The Mules struck first on another big goal from senior co-captain
Tim Stanton. He scored the overtime winner last Saturday in a 2-1
victory over Williams. Stanton once again scored off a corner kick, this
time by Chandler Smith, at 81:09.
Cody Savonen tied the game at 1-1 when he took a pass from Mark Perrault for the equalizer.
Colby goalkeeper Dan Carlson stopped six shots, while Trinity’s Mateo Zabala made five saves.
Colby will play host to local rival Thomas College at Harold Alfond
Stadium on Monday at 7 p.m. Trinity heads to Connecticut College for a
league game at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
