Forum Regarding Camden Hills Regional High School Footbal Scheduled

The Five Town CSD will be hosting a forum, Monday, October 5th at 7pm, to discuss a plan for moving forward with football at Camden Hills Regional High School. It will be held in the gym.

The discussions will be about the various options for our football team’s future for the next couple of years.

Options might include:

· Petitioning to play varsity next season,

· Playing at the junior varsity level

· Returning to an independent club sport

· Or other options.

Hosting the forum will be School Board chair Kristin Collins, Superintendent Maria Libby, Principal Nick Ithomitis, Athletic Director Steve Alex, and High School coach Thad Chilton. Also joining them will be Mike Burnham of the Maine Principal’s Association.

At the forum, they will not be discussing the decision that was made to forfeit the games, thus canceling the rest of the season.
