A presentation of Maine’s nature and wildlife
Wednesday September 9th, 6:30pm at
Rockport Public Library
Rockport, Maine - Presented by Maine wilderness photographer Thomas Szelog and author/speaker Lee Ann Szelog. Interesting, surprising, beautiful, and memorable wildlife and nature photographs and stories exploring Maine's woods and coast, from a typical backyard to Maine’s great north woods.
From living in a lighthouse on the Maine coast to a log cabin in the Maine woods, Lee Ann and Tom Szelog have documented life, human and wild, in two books, the first, Our Point of View – Fourteen Years at a Maine Lighthouse, featuring Marshall Point Lighthouse in Port Clyde, Maine. The second, By a Maine River – A year of Looking Closely, explores the natural beauty found in their own backyard in Whitefield, Maine and inspires people to consider wildlife conservation, beginning in their own backyards.
