MXC: Eagles competes well at Husson Harrier Invitational‏

Bangor, Maine -  Sophomore Lucas Kinney notched a top-15 performance to lead the Husson University men's cross country team in the Husson Harrier Invitation at Saxl Park in Bangor, Maine on Saturday afternoon.

Kinney finished the eight kilometer race in 29:54 to place 15th and was followed in 24th by teammate Josh Wheeler with a time of 30:45. Frank King was the third finisher for Husson as he placed 28th in a time of 31:15.
Derek Hawes was 31st with a time of 31:29 while David Furtado was 33rd in 31:36, Francesco Wright was 45thin 32:49, Nick Young was 48th in 33:11 and Ridge Osgood was 53rd in 33:58
Scott Shaw from New England College won the race with a time of 27:51. New England College won the meet with 48 points, followed by Maine-Farmington with 89, and Maine-Presque Isle with 96. Husson finished 7thwith 126.
The Eagles return to action on Saturday, Sept. 19 at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational.
