BANGOR, Maine - The Eagles host the second annual Husson Invitational Friday and Saturday inside Newman Gymnasium.

The Eagles battle Maine-Presque Isle on Friday at 6 p.m. ET. Coach Jodie Fairbank's squad then takes two USCAA schools - Maine-Fort Kent at 10 a.m. and Unity (Maine) at 12 p.m - on Saturday to conclude pool play before the consolation and championship games begin at 2 p.m.

Husson Notes

The Eagles went 2-1 in pool play of the 2014 Husson Invitational before losing in the championship game.

Marissa Johnson tallied 14 assists in a win last year against Maine-Presque Isle.

Kristen Atwood totaled 10 kills in 2014 against Maine-Fort Kent.

Saturday's contest against Unity will be the second matchup between the squads in five days after Husson won 3-0 on Tuesday. Bailey Cote posted nine kills Tuesday. Sarah Wilson pumped out 21 digs. Johnson netted 15 assists.

Lindsay Chapman, currently with 40 block assists, needs eight to pass Kaitlyn McKay for fourth on the school's all-time list. Chapman, currently with 436 digs, needs 28 to pass Kelsey Burrill for 12th on the school's all-time list.
