WATERVILLE, Maine – The Thomas College golf team hosted the Thomas
Invitational on Wednesday morning at Waterville Country Club. The
Terriers scored a 352 as a team and finished 5th in the event, which was won by Saint Joseph's College.
Cameron Jackman was the low man for the Terriers, finishing tied for 18th with a score of 87. Marcus Johnson and Bryce Lamontagne both scored an 88, good for a share of 21st. Trevor Kitchin and Ryan Guevin rounded out the field for the Terriers, carding an 89 and 95, respectively.
Saint Joseph's compiled for a team score of 297, led by Cam
Letourneau's 73, which earned him medalist honors. Maine Maritime was
the runner-up, scoring a 307.
Thomas will compete in the Husson Invitational, starting on Saturday,
September 26 at 10:00 am and continuing on Sunday. The event will be
held at Bangor Municipal Golf Course.
