WSOC: Gordon tabbed NAC Defensive POW‏

WHITINGHAM, Vermont - Husson freshman goalkeeper Kayla Gordon has been named the North Atlantic Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.

Gordon helped lead the Eagles to a 1-0-1 week as she only allowed one goal in two games. In a tough 1-1 tie to Western New England (Mass.), the Wiscasset, Maine, native had to make four saves in 110 minutes of action. Husson then recorded a 1-0 win over Saint Joseph's (Maine), as Gordon recorded three saves.

On the week, Gordon tallied seven saves and a 0.45 goals against average.

The Eagles host New England (Maine) on Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET.
