Rockland, Maine - According to Farnsworth, The health and safety of our community is our top priority. In response to COVID-19, the Farnsworth Art Museum is temporarily suspending all public activities – the art galleries and library will be closed, and all public programs, school visits, and facility rentals are cancelled. We plan to resume normal operations on Monday, April 6, 2020.

We know that museums are places of inspiration and solace in difficult times. While the museum is closed, you can still explore our collection on our website, shop in our online store, and even take a virtual tour of the Olson House and Farnsworth Homestead. Visit www.farnsworthmuseum.org.

Please continue to check our website for updates, future changes, hours of operation, and additional potential closures. Our staff continues to work remotely, and we will update you as the situation develops.

Be safe and be well, Maine!
