According to Rockland Lobster Boat Races, Since the beginning of the Rockland Lobster Boat Races in June of 2007, it has been our drive to provide racers and specators with the Best Race course, the Best venue for spectators (running along side the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse), a full array of participating Lobster boats from all along the coast of Maine, the highest prize values on the circuit, and great value for exposure for promoters who donate money and prizes to the race.
