WGOLF: Eagles perform well in their inauguarl tournament‏

Wellesley, Massachusetts – The Husson women's golf team competed in their inaugural tournament today at Nehoiden Golf Club on the campus of Wellesley College. Three players competed individually.

The Eagles were paced by Kelsie Dessent's 4th place finish with a score of 85, Rachel Vanedastine placed 9th with a 94 and Tori Jordan finished 15th with a 104.

Eagles' Coach Mike Dugas on the performance, "The players competed well in their first event. They worked hard on every shot and represented Husson well. Each of them identified areas for improvement and are looking forward to their next event."

The Eagles return to action on Saturday, Sept. 19 at the Bowdoin Invitational at the Brunswick Golf Club in Brunswick, Maine.
