Thomas Men’s Lacrosse Falls at Thomas in Regular Season Finale

WATERVILLE, Maine -- University of Maine at Farmington men's lacrosse (0-12) wrapped up the regular season on Wednesday evening with an 8-3 non-conference loss at Thomas College (3-8) under the lights of Smith Field.

Cameron McAllister (Yarmouth, Maine/Hampden) got the offense started for UMF with the game's first goal only three minutes into the contest. Thomas came back with two more goals and took a 2-1 lead at halftime.

Thomas added two more goals before McAllister tallied his second goal of the evening.

The Terriers scored three times in the fourth quarter, but not before McAllister registered a hat trick with six minutes remaining in the game in his final collegiate game.

Caleb Carr (Augusta, Maine/Cony) made ten saves for the Beavers in net.

Thomas' Parker Chute had a hat trick of his own and also recorded one assist. Bryan Ferris and Colby Blondin scored two goals apiece.

UMaine-Farmington's 2016 campaign scored a total of 44 goals, 23 assists, and 67 points, which ranks as the fifth-best season in each statistical category.

McAllister finishes his career fourth on the all-time scoring list with 31 goals and 43 points.

Fellow senior Connor Joy (Windham, Maine/Windham) caused a total of 53 turnovers and scooped up 117 ground balls in his career and was 10th in the North Atlantic Conference this season in terms of caused turnovers in conference play.
