Women's XC Set Eleven Personal Bests at Bowdoin Invitational

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The University of Maine at Farmington women's cross country set eleven personal best times as the team ranked third overall at the Bowdoin Invitational on Saturday.

With the third place team finish, UMF topped North Atlantic Conference rival Lyndon State for the top NAC team. The Beavers averaged a 21:50 and combined for a total 1:49.09 time in the 5k race.
Emma Pidden (Yarmouth, Maine/Yarmouth) led the Beavers in 18th place and crossed the line at 20:55.54 with teammate Laura Pulito (Brownfield, Maine/Fryeburg Academy) finishing only three seconds later.

Alisha Labbe (Turner, Maine/Leavitt), Megan Morrison (Dixfield, Maine/Dirigo) Gwen Baker (Windham, Maine/Windham), Anna Dowling (Saco, Maine/Thornton Academy), and Emily Franklin (Bath, Maine/Maine School of Science and Math) rounded out the scoring for the Beavers with top 40 finishes.

UMaine-Farmington will compete at the Gordon Pop Crowell Invitational next Saturday, hosted by Gordon College.
