Doubleheader Slated for Friday, July 13th @ 6:00 PM
Portland, Maine- Tuesday's (May 8) Eastern League contest between the Portland Sea Dogs and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats scheduled for 6:00 PM has been postponed due to rain. The two clubs will make-up the game as part of a single- admission doubleheader on Friday, July 13th at 6:00 PM.
Fans with tickets to the May 8th postponed game, may exchange their tickets for tickets of equal or lesser value to any remaining 2012 Sea Dogs home game, subject to availability. Any questions regarding rained out tickets should be directed to the Sea Dogs Ticket Office at 207-879-9500 or tickets@seadogs.com.
The Josh Beckett bobblehead dolls scheduled to be given out on Tuesday, May 8th will be given away on Wednesday, June 6th to the first 1,000 fans, made possible by U.S. Cellular.
The Most Improved Student ceremony scheduled for May 8th will be rescheduled for Wednesday, June 6th.
The July 13th doubleheader will consist of two 7-inning games. Tickets dated July 13th are good for both games of the doubleheader. To accommodate the doubleheader game time has been moved-up to a 6:00 PM start. Original game time was set for 7:00 PM.
This is the Sea Dogs second rain out of the season at Hadlock Field. Portland was previously rained out on May 1st against the Trenton Thunder.
