Ellsworth, Maine - The Grand announces auditions for its Fashion Musical Fundraiser “Runway Grand: The Musical” on Sunday June 24th from 1pm to 4pm and Monday June 25th from 6pm to 8pm.
When fashion goes behind the scenes, expect hijinks and hilarity! This year’s Runway Grand fundraiser will not only include a fashion show by local retail shops, but will also be a high-fashion musical revue featuring local singers & dancers.
“Runway Grand: The Musical” is looking for singer/actors to fill the three leads (two males and one female) as well as chorus members and models. Those auditioning should be able to attend about 3 weeks’ worth of rehearsals on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays as well as being able to perform on August 3rd and 4th at 7pm. Interested actors/actresses are asked to come prepared with a song to sing (There will be an accompanist available, so sheet music is recommended). There will also be a short choreography piece as part of the audition process. Please note “Runway Grand: The Musical” will be presented on August 3rd and 4th at 7pm. Tickets are $25 while Kids 12 and under can attend for $12.
