Tina Li and Montana Crossman excel at state art show

Tina Li and Montana Crossman excel at state art show

Foxcroft, Maine - Congratulations to Foxcroft Academy senior Tina Li, whose “Two Sides of Me” was awarded first place at the General Federated Women’s Club state-level art show, and to sophomore Montana Crossman, whose “Cadillac Mountain” was an honorable mention selection.

Several FA artists entered the art competition at the local level (sponsored by local chapters Cosmopolitan and the Miosac Groups) a few months ago, and the works of Li and Crossman were selected to move on to the state level. The state-level show included submissions from more than 200 students, and Li’s work was deemed the best of the lot.
Foxcroft Academy art teacher Jane Blay (pictured above with Li and Crossman) is thrilled with the results. “This is the first time we’ve won at the state level since I’ve been here,” said Blay, who started at FA in 1998.
