PRESERVE MAINE TRADITIONS TO HOLD PANEL DISCUSSION ON MAY 30 AT LITHGOW LIBRARY

Augusta, Maine - Preserve Maine Traditions will present a panel discussion on Wednesday, May 30 at 6:30 p.m. at Lithgow Public Library in Augusta. Preserve Maine Traditions is a citizens group committed to preserving Maine's cultural heritage and land use traditions, working to ensure the continued respect between landowners and the public.

The discussion will take place in the Reading Room, and is free and open to the public.

The group opposes the RESTORE’s national park proposal for northern Maine. The presentation will be led by David Trahan, executive director of the Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine, and Patrick Strauch of the Maine Forest Products Council. It will highlight what is working in the North woods and the public access the people of Maine currently enjoy.
