This interactive workshop is designed to teach women, who never got to play the game, the basics such as offensive and defensive strategies as well as what to look for when watching a game.

The second part will include a tour of the facilities (locker room, weight room, field and skyboxes) as well as a chance to participate in drills with the coaching staff and run plays on the field.
The cost is only $25 and includes a t-shirt, refreshments, a ticket to Maine's home opener on Sept. 22 against Albany, and the Football 101 book written by Sandy Caron and Mike Hodgson. There will be a drawing for two sideline passes for the home opener. All proceeds benefit the UMaine football program.
