ISLAND INSTITUTE TO HOST MEMBER APPRECIATION DAY AND OPEN HOUSE

Rockland, Maine - On Friday, August 10th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., the Island Institute will welcome its members and the general public to a Member Appreciation Day and Open House at its headquarters building, 386 Main Street in Rockland. All visitors can enjoy live music, free raffles and an exclusive membership offer including a special one-time 20% discount at Archipelago, the organization’s retail store.  

Island Institute members are especially welcome to join the staff for refreshments on the fourth floor, take a tour of the historic building, and learn more about the programs and resources they help support.  As a token of appreciation, all members in attendance will receive a free gift bag.  There will also be a special address by Philip Conkling and Rob Snyder at 3:00 p.m. For more information, please call 207-594-9209, x113.
