Blue Hill, Maine - As part of the Summer Reading Program, Dream Big, Read!, the Blue Hill Public Library will present a science workshop for kids ages 7 to 12. Local science teacher, Dave Hollenberg will discuss and demonstrate the science behind technologies that light up the nighttime. How does electricity work? How do glow sticks work? What is the science behind chemiluminescence, bioluminescence and phosphorescence?
This will be a hands-on workshop and fun projects will be created! Space is limited so registration is required. Participants may visit our events calendar at www.bhpl.net or call the Library at 374-5515 to reserve a place in the workshop.
