Blue Hills, Maine - Blue Hill summer resident and author Beth Gutcheon will read from her recently published book Gossip on Tuesday, July 31st at 7:00 PM at the Blue Hill Public Library. Gossip is a “sharply perceptive and emotionally resonant novel about the power of knowing things about others, the consequences of rumor, and the unexpected price of friendship.” The story is set among the rich, famous, and well-dressed of Manhattan’s Upper East Side, and addresses themes including motherhood, friendship, and fidelity.
