Thomaston, Maine - Youthful and full of inspiration, photography by Eve Marie Hupper of Rockland is currently being displayed at the Thomaston Public Library. Eve Hupper has been experimenting enthusiastically during her year between high school and attending the Maine College Of Art in Portland. During this year she has won the Congressional Art Award: second place in district one (out of two districts), experimented with lighting and color in multiple freelance photo shoots, as well as handcrafted 3D vernacular sculptures of The Strand and the Farnsworth’s famous EAT sign using recycled materials. (These sculptures are currently on display in the Strand lobby.) Eve will be starting classes focused in Digital Photography, Sculpture, and Metal Smithing starting this fall.
Please join us at the Thomaston Public Library on August 6th at 6pm for a reception of Eve Hupper’s work, followed by light refreshment.
