"Beverly has impacted the lives of thousands of university students in the mid-coast area in her 21 years of service and employment. We hope many of those folks will come back to the center for her tribute and bid here a fond farewell," said URock Director Deborah Meehan. "We expect this will also be a fun reunion for many former students, faculty and staff," added Meehan.
Bayer started her work at the university when it was located at the Thomaston Academy. She has been providing support services for university students including academic advising, testing, career workshops, community referrals, tutoring and other special accommodations for 21 years.
