Thomaston, Maine - The Thomaston Historical Society has a new display in the large case upstairs at the Thomaston Public Library: “Thomaston School Memories,” a collection of items from the Thomaston Academy Building and other historic schools in Thomaston. Some items date as far back as 1883. The collection includes a framed diploma from 1902, a paddle from the class of 1953, as well as graduation programs from the class of 1893.
