Volunteers, staff and museum trustees came out in force for Volunteer Day. Did the bounteous potluck lunch have anything to do with the good turnout? (Photo: Mike Stein) |
Searsport, Maine-Saturday was Spring Cleanup and Volunteer Day at PMM. In its second year, the event was a great success, with eager supporters pitching in all over the campus, helping us prepare buildings, grounds and exhibits for opening day. We were joined by the Girl Scouts and Brownies of Stockton Springs, members of the local chapter of the Yale Alumni Association, the Belfast Bay Fiddlers, and many with no organizational affiliation (other than a desire to support Penobscot Marine Museum). Please join us next year for a great day of work, camaraderie, music, food and fun.
