Memorial Day will mark the end of the Pemaquid Watershed Association’s 2012
Native Wild Sod Sale
Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to enhance the aesthetics of your
yard while protecting water quality by planting native wild sod.
What is Wild Sod?  Simply a surface section of earth with growing roots and plants --
  Beautiful native plants for all your landscaping needs. Aromatic and Natural!!!  
Perfect for edging, erosion prevention, woodland to yard transitions, rock gardens, shade gardens, lawn replacement and much more!
Types of sod available include blueberry and bunchberry; 
New York, Hayscented, Christmas, cinnamon, interrupted and ostrich ferns; 
wild mix; and haircap and reindeer moss.

TO ORDER
Visit the PWA Sod Booth at any of the following plant sales:
  • The Morris Farm plant sale THIS Saturday, May 19, from
8:30-12:30, at the Morris Farm on 156 Gardiner Road in Wiscasset.
  • The Bristol Library plant sale on Saturday, May 26 from
8:00-11:00 at the Bristol Library on Route 130 in Bristol.
  • The Old Bristol Garden Club sale on Saturday, May 26, from
8:00-12:00 at the Masonic Hall on Business Route 1 in Damariscotta, across
the street from Round Top Ice Cream. 
==>If unable to attend the plant sales, an order form is online at
http://www.pemaquidwatershed.org/Documents/plantsale-orderform.pdf 
and must be submitted to PWA with payment by noon
on Memorial Day. The PWA office will be open Memorial Day morning and is
located above Salt Bay Café in Damariscotta. To pay with a credit card, call
PWA at (207) 563-2196 to submit your order and process payment.
Sod orders must be picked up rain or shine on Monday, June 4, from 9:00 to
11:00 am or 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Coastal Marketplace parking lot behind
Dollar Tree on Business Route 1 in Damariscotta.  
Proceeds from this sale benefit Pemaquid Watershed Association’s mission to
conserve the natural resources of the Pemaquid Peninsula through land and
water stewardship and education.
