AUGUSTA, ME - All events are free and open to the public. Please contact the library for more information: 626-2415 or www.lithgow.lib.me.us. The library is located at 45 Winthrop Street, across from the former YMCA. The library is open Monday - Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to Noon.

Legos at the Library 3:30 p.m., Youth Services
Join us for fun Lego building sessions with other Lego lovers! We will meet the 1st Thursday of the month, at 3:30 p.m. in Youth Services. Legos will be provided.

Rockin’ Readers 6:30-7:30p.m., Youth Services
Readers in 3rd to 6th grade and adults can take part in this fun, interactive inter-generational book discussion. Our book for May is "The Phantom Tollbooth" by  Norton Juster. Please see Sarah for a copy of the book, and more details!

Enjoy stories, songs and finger plays at this story time for infants and their care givers.

Toddler Time 10 a.m., Youth Services
Sing songs, listen to stories, and learn nursery rhymes while interacting with your child and other care providers.

Craft Afternoon  3:30 p.m., Youth Services
Come join us for a fun, creative afternoon of cutting, gluing, stamping, weaving, drawing, etc.! All ages welcome! Children 6 and under will need adult supervision. This program is hosted the 2nd Tuesday of the month, until June.  This month we will be making magnetic bookmarks. These will make a great gift for Mother’s Day!

Dress in your fanciest tea party attire! Tiaras, tea and punch, tasty treats and crafts will be provided! Bring your mom, grandma, or other special person in your life to celebrate. Free and open to the public. Please contact Sarah for more information.

Little Trees: Nature-based Learning for Sprouting Young Minds 3:30 p.m., Youth Services
Little Trees is Lithgow Public Library’s new natured-based learning program for children in 2nd through 4th grade! Featuring a variety of crafts, games and hands-on activities, Little Trees is meant to connect children to the wonders of their natural environment while fostering a general curiosity for learning. Join us every third Thursday of the month at 3:30 p.m. in Youth Services.
