Friends of Blue Hill Library Film


Blue Hill, Maine - The Friends of the Blue Hill Public Library monthly film series continues on Thursday, May 17th at 7:00 PM with George Stevens’ classic western movie Shane (1953), starring Alan Ladd and Jack Palance.  The film earned six Academy Award nominations and also starred Jean Arthur, Van Hefflin and Brandon De Wilde.  The film is about a drifter who comes to the aid of a family being terrorized by a wealthy cattleman and his hired gun.
