BREWER, ME – EMHS is pleased to announce the debut of our new website: www.emhs.org.
EMHS is in new and exciting territory, and we believe the very public face of our system - our website - should reflect not only who we are but also state how we are reinventing care delivery for the northern two-thirds of Maine. This new website raises the profile of our member organizations, and showcases the many EMHS initiatives that are making a difference in our communities, such as Bangor Beacon Community, Raising Readers, and Move and Improve.
Please note, this change affects our email addresses as well. If you have contacts within EMHS in your contact listings, please take a moment to update all contacts from name@emh.org to name@emhs.org. For the meantime, both addresses will still work, but updating now will help to ensure you have the most up-to-date contact information for EMHS staff.
EMHS is a system of seven hospitals, long-term care and rehabilitation centers, home care and hospice, emergency transport, and other health services. The system is one of 17 federal Beacon communities, and one of 32 health systems selected to be a Pioneer accountable care organization. EMHS is also collaborator with healthcare systems across Maine and New England, and, most notably, recently established a relationship between our Pioneer project and Geisinger Health System of Pennsylvania.
