Marni Lawson


In 1983 Marni had 1,000 copies of the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse painting printed and they sold out.
Her husband came up with the title, during a real estate boom- "Well Lit, Small Yard, Ocean View"
Folks asked for them for 7 years afterwards. 
 
Marni lived in Rockland, Maine for 9 years and watched the building of the Schooner "Heritage." Most of those paintings are before digital...
Her husband moved them to the Western Maine Mountains where she painted primarily Sugarloaf and Mountain Scenes.
She lived there over 20 years.
