The Secret Garden Film at the Camden Public Library
Camden, Maine - Bring some lawn chairs and the whole family to the Camden Public Library’s Amphitheatre on Monday, August 12, at 8:30 pm for a screening of the charming film The Secret Garden, based on the book by Frances Hodgson Burnett.
The story is about a young girl named Mary Lennox who is sent from India to England to live with her uncle after the death of her parents. The uncle’s manner and sorrow leaves Mary feeling bitterly alone and neglected. She begins exploring the estate and discovers a garden that has become hidden.
