Rockland, Maine - The public is invited to the third annual Rockland Community Picnic at MacDougal Park on Broadway on Saturday July 27 from 11 am to 3 pm. The picnic is hosted by WRFR 93.3, Rockland Community Radio and the Rockland Public Library and is free and open to people of all ages. There will be great food, including award-winning fire pit baked beans from Maynard Stanley, hot hogs from Rockland’s famous Wasses Hot Dogs, corn on the cob from local farmers, and other seasonal treats from the Good Tern Food Co-op. There will also be arts, crafts, and farm exhibitors who will demonstrate their wares and talents, lawn games for adults and children, and acoustic music with Ukes Rock at 11, Dusty & Joanna and Friends at 11:45, and Miners Creek at 12:30.
