'Dogs scratch the 'Cats, 10-4

Jimenez earns first win as a reliever/Tendler 2-for-4, HR, 2 RBI
Manchester, NH - The Portland Sea Dogs (12-15) scored five times in the fifth inning and beat the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (10-17), 10-4 on Wednesday afternoon at Delta Dental Stadium. Portland took the series by winning the final two games.

LHP Dedgar Jimenez (3-4) earned his first relief win, working 3.1 innings on two hits, one run, one walk, and three strikeouts. RHP Yennsy Diaz (8-7) took the loss, giving up eight runs over 4.1 innings on six walks and four hits.

Sea Dogs starter RHP Robinson Leyer (ND) pitched 2.2 innings on one hit and four walks, making the spot-start for Kutter Crawford.

In Portland's three-run first, Diaz uncorked three wild pitches in a row to score Jarren Duran and C.J. Chatham. With two outs, Luke Tendler blasted a solo homer to right, his 10th of the season.

The 'Dogs had the magic five going in the fifth, scoring five times, sending all nine to the plate. Nunez and Tendler had RBI singles, and Duran produced a two-run single with two outs.

New Hampshire scored their first run in the sixth inning on a two-out RBI double by Christian Williams. In the seventh, the 'Cats added two runs against Matthew Gorst.

In the ninth, Jeremy Rivera delivered a bases-loaded two-run single against Jake Fishman.
