From Books to Big Screen at the Camden Public Library


Camden Maine - The Camden Public Library’s Monday Night Movie Series kicks off this summer in the Amphitheatre on Monday, July 15, at 8:30 pm with a film based on the young adult fantasy novel Inkheart, by Cornelia Funke. This family-friendly story is about about a teenage girl named Meggie and her father who has a special ability to literally bring characters to life when he reads aloud. The gift backfires when he accidentally summons a villain, who is reluctant to return to his literary realm. Bring blankets and chairs to comfortably enjoy this free film under the stars! Rated PG. 1hr, 46min. 2008. Make-up date in case of rain will be July 29.
