WATERVILLE, Maine – Maine Maritime Academy women's lacrosse fell to
Thomas College 12-0, on Wednesday night in North Atlantic Conference
action.
Sierra James (Campton, N.H.) led the Mariners with four shots, including two on goal, Julia Dillon (Norway, Maine) led Maine Maritime with three caused turnovers and Christina Wilson (East Granby, Conn.) tallied a team-high four ground balls while also stopping eight shots in net.
Sophia LaVallee tallied four goals for the Terriers, Erin Nelligan
netted a hat trick, and Samantha Greenlaw added a pair of goals and a
pair of assists. Halley Mullen grabbed two goals, while Lindsay Allen
tallied a goal and an assist. Splitting time in net, Brittany Fox and
Tori Grey combined for four saves.
The Mariners fall to 0-6 on the season and 0-2 in the NAC, while the
Terriers improve to 1-4 overall and 1-1 in the conference. Maine
Maritime returns to action this Saturday, at Colby-Sawyer for a 1:00
p.m. NAC matchup.
