Bowdoin Women's Lacrosse Jumps Ahead Early, Coasts To Win at Endicott

Emma Beecher had three of her four goals in the first half as Bowdoin jumped to an early lead at Endicott
BEVERLY, Mass. - The Bowdoin College women's lacrosse team scored the first six goals of the game and never looked back in an easy 14-5 non-conference win at Endicott on Wednesday night.
The Polar Bears improve to 3-3 and are ranked 18th in the latest IWLCA Division III poll. The Gulls fall to 1-6 on the season with the loss.

Game Highlights
  • Bowdoin left little doubt to the eventual outcome, scoring five goals in the first 12 minutes and grabbing a 7-1 halftime advantage
  • Emma Beecher netted three first-half goals while Megan O'Connor had a pair
  • Endicott trimmed the lead to 8-3 early in the second period, but Bowdoin quickly put the game away with a four-goal spurt in a span of 3:43 to push the lead to 12-3 with 16 minutes to go
