Results from Trampoline and Tumbling event in Portugal


Loule, Portugal – At the World Cup event in Portugal, women's synchro athletes Dakota Earnest of Plains, Texas/Acrospirits, and Alicia Powder, Ladera Ranch, Calif./World Elite Gymnastics, finished fourth with a score of 80.80 and qualified to finals, which take place on Sept. 8.

At the 2012 Loule Cup, also in Portugal, Madi Webster, Odon, Ind./Tumbling Express, finished in first place in qualifications in junior women's double mini with a score of 63.900. Miranda Maldonado, Amarillo, Texas/The Palaestra LLC, finished second with a 62.150.

Kristle Lowell, Orland Park, Ill./Branch Gymnastics, and Erin Jauch, Crystal Lake, Ill./Fox Valley Tumbling and Trampoline, finished in a tie for first in junior women's double mini with a score of 66.300.

Garrett Day, Bedford, Va./Lynchburg Academy, leads the rankings in men's double mini 13-14 with a score of 68.000. Tanner Robinson of Anaheim, Calif./World Elite Gymnastics, is fourth with 62.600.

Hally Piontek, Warrensburg, Mo./Kansas City Trampoline, finished first with a 62.850 in 13-14 women's double mini, while Courtney Walsh, Red Bank, N.J./ETA finished fifth with a 60.075. Sarah Webster, Valley View, Texas/Elite Champion, was seventh with a 59.625.

Dakota Earnest of Plains, Texas/Acrospirits, finished seventh with a 95.450 at the Loule Cup in women's trampoline qualifying competition and is headed to the finals.

Brittney Bernard, Bixby, Okla./Oklahoma Extreme Tumbling, and Garret Waterstradt of Paxton, Ill./Irishs Gymnastics, both qualified to finals in tumbling. Bernard finished seventh with a score of 54.100 and Waterstradt finished fifth with a score of 63.700.

Neil Gulati, Irvine, Calif./World Elite Gymnastics, finished 16th in men's trampoline for the World Cup qualification scoring 101.170.
