Readfield, Maine - MaineDOT crews will be updating and paving the Readfield Depot railroad crossing from Wednesday, September 26th through Friday, September 28th. The work area is located on Route 17 at the railroad crossing, approximately one and a half miles northwest of the Route 135 (Stanley Road) intersection.
This three day project will detour traffic onto Route 135 to Route 202, then back to Route 41.
This work is necessary to update the railroad crossing, paving the way for a smoother ride for the traveling public.
