Lincoln Theater welcomes New Executive Director

Damariscotta, Maine -  Lincoln Theater in downtown Damariscotta  is pleased to welcome Mr. Steven Hatch as its new Executive Director.  Steve brings a wealth of nonprofit management experience to his new role. Most recently, he served as Assistant Director of the Owls Head Transportation Museum in Owls Head.    The nominating committee of the theater’s Board of Trustees held a nationwide search for someone to fill the executive position, receiving numerous submissions and  and interviewing several potential candidates.  Steve’s experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm for the mission of the theater were just a few of the qualities that made him stand out.

The month of October will be a transition time as the current director, Andrew Fenniman, moves out of the role he has voluntarily held for the past two years.  Moving forward, Andrew will continue to serve on the Board of Trustees and will dedicate his volunteer time on behalf of the theater focused on fund development.  The Board looks forward to officially welcoming Steve at the theater’s annual membership meeting, which will be held on Monday evening October, 29.  Additional information regarding Lincoln Theater can be found on its website at www.atthelincoln.org.  Steve will begin his tenure on October 1.  Please drop by and welcome him!
