ROCKPORT, ME - The Rockport Public Library is launching a group for writers on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at 6:30 p.m.
The group is open to all writers, published or aspiring, and will welcome works in all genres. Facilitator Fran Hodgkins says, “Here, writers can share their questions and their experiences with writing and publishing, the do’s and don’ts.”
The main goal of the group is to give writers a place to get feedback on their work. Writers will be welcome to read their work to the group and receive constructive suggestions. “We want everyone to feel comfortable with sharing his or her work., though no one will required to read – it’s strictly voluntary!” Although the group is open to all, writers are encouraged to sign up by calling the Rockport Library, 236-3642.
For more information, please contact the Rockport Public Library at 236-3642 or rpl@rockport.lib.me.us. Visit our website at www.rockport.lib.me.us to see full program descriptions and a calendar of events.
