BLUE HILL, ME - Artistic bookmaker Anne-Claude Cotty will conduct a second bookmaking workshop for adults and children age 8 and up at the Blue Hill Public Library on Saturday May 12th from 9:00 to 11:30 AM. This workshop will have the theme, “Gardens in Bloom,” featuring “flowers and creatures with words tumbling gracefully in amazing waterfall books.” Parents are encouraged to accompany younger children.
Anne-Claude Cotty is well known for her artists’ books and exhibits her work periodically at the Blue Hill Library, along with a group of artists who learned from her. The exhibits are always popular and generate a lot of interest in the genre.
The program is free but space is limited and registration is required. Participants can sign up using the events calendar at www.bhpl.net or by calling the Library at 375-5515.
