Editor: David Mills

BATH, ME - Early registration has been high, but there there is still time to reserve your seat at the 40th Annual Walker Maritime History Symposium this Saturday, April 28, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Museum's Long Reach Hall. Speakers will present on a wide range of topics, all related to the Symposium theme "The History and Future of the Maritime Experience." The presenters represent a broad range of experience and background from historians, to ship captains to lifelong fishermen. At the end of the day, attendees will muster in the Museum Boat Shop for a fish house punch reception and a presentation on traditional boat building by Eric Stockinger, Executive Director of The Apprenticeshop in Rockland. As usual, the day promises to be full of informative presentations, entertaining discussions and great comraderie.
