City of Rockland Planning Board Meeting April 3rd Short-Review

ROCKLAND, ME - The City Planning Board met Tuesday night on April 3rd. Members of the planning board heard from reps. from CMP, Bartlett Woods, Maritime Energy and Bob Liberty of Rockland on the Bay.
CMP's replacement of poles and lines site plan was approved by the board 3-0. This project involves going through a shore land zone portion, 2.1 miles in Rockland, cost 4.1 million project total for 3.8 miles from Rockland to Thomaston and should be completed in December of 2012.
Bartlett Woods was before the board for amendment to their site plan approved on 6-7-2011 with a drainage revision. Their drainage revision was approved by the board by a 3-0 vote with a condition of a pond to catch run off water.
Maritime Energy's site plan for a storage, 3 bay garage on their property at 234 Park Street Their site plan was approved by a 3-0 vote with a condition to get a more detailed site plan that includes siding, lighting, etc.
Finally, Bob Liberty/Rockland on the Bay plan to changing 2 hotel rooms to 4 condominium time-shares was approved by a 3-0 vote.
