Author Event: Children’s Author Janet Tashjian  - Blue Hill Public Library Apr. 26th


BLUE HILL, ME - The Blue Hill Public Library will host a very special author event intended for middle school-aged kids and older, including adults who are fans. Author Janet Tashjian, and her teenage son and illustrator Jake will talk about their latest books on Thursday, April 26th at 3:30 PM in the Library’s Howard Room.

Janet is the author of acclaimed books for young adults, including The Gospel According to Larry, Vote for Larry, Fault Line, Multiple Choice, My Life as a Book and her newest title, My Life as a Stuntboy. Janet’s son, Jake, illustrated her two latest books.  Another book by Janet, Tru Confessions, was adapted by Disney into a television movie starring Clara Bryant and Shia LaBeouf. She and Jake live in Los Angeles and their visit to Blue Hill is part of an east coast tour.

This event is sponsored by the Blue Hill Public Library and made possible by The Friends of the Library. There is no charge, and everyone is welcome. Books will be available for sale and signing.  For more information, call the Library at 374-5515
